I purchased my Civic Type R from out of state and it had a defect with the dash. I contacted Honda of America and told them I would not drive 1,500 miles back to the dealership I purchased the car from to have it fixed. It does not make sense and they agreed. I took my car into Honda of Escondido and Gabriel the service manager was very helpful. It was so easy that I couldn't believe it. He asked Violet to order the special order part. A week later, Violet gave me a call with an update and Amanda scheduled my appointment. I will bring in my car next week to have the dash replaced. They were very organized at Honda of Escondido. I was transferred from Violet to Amanda and I did not have to provide any information like my name, VIN or my story again. I will update my review after the car is fixed. So far the service is 10 out of 10. Thank you all.
I had a great experience at Honda of Escondido. Went there and was looking for a specific color in the new Honda accord and they located it for me. Thank you to everyone who helped me purchase my new car Adrian, Andrea, Inakie, Richard, Chris and anyone I left out thank you for the the great customer service and experience.
I normally don't take my car to the dealer for service, from the standpoint of both cost and convenience. However for critical items like brake pads, I feel it is worth the cost of OEM parts and dealer expertise. Honda of Escondido is the ONLY Honda dealer I will even consider for service. Their service is excellent, they are very friendly and respectful, and I feel treated like they value my business. Most importantly, they never try to sell me on additional unnecessary repairs. In addition to my brake service, there was one additional minor issue that they repaired at a reasonable price. In particular Tony is an excellent service adviser, but I have dealt with others in the past who are also good to work with. Overall service is more expensive than at an independent repair shop, but not significantly so and I believe well worth the service and quality of work. I live in San Diego and there are at least three Honda dealers that are more convenient, but I will always make the drive to Honda Escondido for major service like this. Thanks!
Service Department here is 5 stars all around! Soon as I pull in someone greeted me and offered help. Been coming here for the last two years to maintain my 2016 Civic and the service department here is efficient and faster compared to other dealerships I might add. One particular worker there named KEVIN MACADAMS who always remembers me and makes sure I'm good. He is the best! 20-25 min for an oil change, didn't wait long at all (I scheduled an appt). Awesome customer service, Honda of Esco!
