How to Connect to Apple CarPlay®

In order to connect to Apple CarPlay®, you will need an iPhone 5 or newer device. Make sure Siri is turned on in your settings, and then follow these instructions on how to connect to Apple CarPlay®.

1. Connect your phone to the CarPlay USB, which will be labeled as such. If your vehicle has Bluetooth® connectivity, you can connect wirelessly.
2. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay > Available Cars, and select your car.
3. Start your car, and leave it running.
4. Your vehicle should now be connected to Apple CarPlay®. Access Siri via the Voice Control button on your steering wheel or the CarPlay Home button on the touchscreen as you drive throughout the Carlsbad area.

How to Connect to Android Auto™

In order to connect to Android Auto™, you will need an Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or newer device. The following instructions will show you how to connect to Android Auto™.

1. Activate Android Auto™ in your car’s settings.
2. Download the Android Auto™ app on your phone from Google Play. You will be prompted to do so when you plug your phone into the compatible USB port.
3. Unlock your phone screen, and review the Safety Information and Android Auto™ permissions.
4. Turn on notifications for Android Auto™.
5. Access Android Auto™ on your vehicle’s touchscreen.
